Service dog helps his owner during convulsion

The video we bring in this publication serves as a reminder to anyone who doubts the capabilities of a service dog when the driver's disability is not visually obvious. In the situation described in this text, the dog named Poppy takes care of a woman, Shannon, who suffers from epilepsy. According to Assignment writing service the description posted in conjunction with the video on YouTube, Poppy warned his owner that she would have an attack about 15 minutes earlier. She then decided to film.

Shannon, set the camera on his cell phone and lay down in a safe place. When the seizures began, the puppy began to lick the woman's mouth. Still according to the video description, Poppy acts this way for two reasons, one: to get her to "come back" as quickly as possible; and two: to prevent it from suffocating with excess saliva.

Service dogs can be trained in many different ways. According to the Canine Partners for Life Association, some are able to feel when the seizures are approaching, and in that way they can warn their owners before. While others, according to the Epilepsy Foundation, are trained to bark and warn people around their owners that they are convulsing, or to turn on write my paper cheap the alarm system or even lie down next to their owners to prevent injuries.
